chekhonte replied to your video: Machadaynu (by kevinmurphy) Last night I watched… i’ve never seen this program! :gasp: All, or almost all, of it is on Youtube, so that can be rectified! I think the first series is better than the second, but they both have their moments. You can’t say no to something that bred as fantastic a song as “Little Mouse.”

WatchWatch
Dear lady conducting this interview: It’s true, many people want to tap that. However, a red carpet interview is neither the time nor place to come on to someone, no matter the amount of bodaciousness they posess. On the other hand, thank you for showing me how not to conduct an interview. Cheers!   PS—>if anyone watches this, I don’t think it will load on Tumblr proper, but...

Ah, fanfiction. I love how it runs the gamut from Hobbit adventures featuring Neil Hannon to harrowing sagas on the unspoken yet immense love shared between Nick Cave and Blixa Bargeld.

My mom has just gone on a 5 minute tirade about how dorky she thinks Foster The People look. True holiday spirit at its finest.

“It’s the Manics the fans want, and as confetti rains down during A Design...”
– The Guardian’s review of the O2 Manics gig last night. I have to review an Adele live DVD for PopMatters, and the confetti thing happens during “Rolling in the Deep.” I don’t get why the confetti has to be brought out at the end of each big show, because in the Adele...

Final year-end list: five favorite gigs of the...
Be glad I didn’t make this as perverted as I could have… 5) PJ Harvey at Terminal 5:  This gig was massively hampered by the venue (my least favorite) and the people surrounding me, who were the rudest people I’ve ever been surrounded by at a gig. If you’re just going to complain about the artist you’ve paid money to see not playing “the hits,” then get...

More text! Favorite songs of the year!
Firstly, honorable mention goes to “Thin Men Dancing” by Brett Anderson, simply because it’s called “Thin Men Dancing.” 15) Laura Marling—Sophia:  I really wish I would’ve given this album more of a chance. I loved it when I first heard it, but kind of abandoned it after a week. I’ve been listening to it again though and doing so makes me sad that...

secondarymodern replied to your photo: Ughhhhhh, can’t wait to go home for Christmas so I… IT IS THE BEST MOVIE. I was driving home from Christmas shopping with my mum last night and even she knew that Woody (his character) is the best and kept quoting lines. IT’S A MOVIE WITH CROSS-GENERATIONAL APPEAL!! Super pumped for a viewing party! Aw, that’s awesome! I looked up Shane...

I saw John Hurt tonight!
Highlights: *Making fun of Ian McKellen’s haircut in the film which preceded the Q & A (that film would be Scandal). *Proclaiming his love for Jim Jarmusch. *When the moderator brought up Michael Fassbender for no reason whatsoever. *John Hurt saying “sassier” at one point in the evening. A good night was had!
