Future Islands—Before the Bridge
Among the many great things Fromhertoeternity has done for me since we’ve met is finally get me to listen to Future Islands. If there are two things I like in music, they are synths and ridiculous/non-emo emotional vocals. This song is bringing it in terms of both. Says a Youtube commenter (and when are they not an authority?) “I feel like Dracula is singing this to me…and I love it!” Future Islands also get about eleventy points for being Baltimore-based. Because I was happy about not being sick today, I even had a little groove to this at work (and then the director of the library walked by).
